💲Protocol Revenue
Unlike traditional Web2 games that rely on ads, paywalls, and paid content, Cyberpunks World is designed as a self-sustaining protocol where revenue comes directly from player activity and economic interactions. The goal is to align the interests of the game, its players, and its economy by making fees transparent.
Revenue Streams (Fee Collection Points)
Marketplace Trades A small fee is collected on every marketplace transaction of game assets, including weapons, armor, consumables, lootboxes, keys and ability charges.
Lootbox Activity
Paid hacking attempts.
Staked Fights (PvP and AI Fights) A percentage fee is collected from the prize pool of staked fights before winnings are distributed.
Tournaments
Player-created tournaments: protocol takes a small share of entry fees or prize pools.
Prediction Markets Each prediction (fight outcomes, turn-by-turn, tournament outcomes, AI fights) includes a fee from the prediction pool. A portion is also redirected to fighters.
Boss Raids A small percentage of the growing bounty is reserved for the protocol.
DEX Swaps Trading fungible tokens via the in-game DEX generates swap fees for the protocol.
