Mining

Mining is an activity that requires a Mining Drone.

Players can easily acquire a Standard Mining Drone during early game stages, (better Mining Drones are crafted by a Drone Engineer). Mining indirectly requires Power Generators to recharge your Mining Drone afterwards.

Characters have a Mining Level. A higher Level means better chances to find better resources and generally being better at all aspects of the Mining activity.

Mining activity is simulated via a unique activity and by playing this you can obtain various types of Metals, that are useful for crafting Combat Equipment (by the Forge Masters).

Mining will involve exploring various maps made of tiles. Tiles will be hidden in the beginning. Some of these tiles will have hidden piles of a particular resource, while the rest will be soft or hard blocks.

Based on your scouting power, you may reveal some nearby tiles every time you enter a new tile. Start by moving to and revealing any surface tile. From there, move to any orthogonally adjacent tile one at a time.

If you find a soft/hard block, you lose a little/medium amount of energy and continue.

If you find a pile of resources, you may start gathering it. Gathering will take time and rapidly consume energy.

You may skip mining and continue scouting to find rarer resources. When you run out of energy, the mining ends. You may stop anytime you feel you have scouted enough and choose from all the available revealed resource piles and start mining them as a whole (according to your remaining energy).
